Spearmint | 10ml Concentrated Flavor for Eliquid | Self Mixing
The concentrated flavors we sell are provided by an international flavor company that has been engaged in the sale of flavors for many years. There are 100’s of food grade flavors but the flavors we sell have specifically been found to be excellent in Eliquid applications and our range will be expanding monthly while new flavors are being tested and added to the DIY Eliquid range.
All concentrated flavors are water soluble and in Propylene Glycol (PG) or distilled water depending on flavor type and contains no Diacetyl, Acetoin, Acetyl, Propionyl, 2-3 Hexanedione, 2-3 Heptanedione, or Diacetyl Trimmer which are often used as Diacetyl equivalents. All flavors are Food Grade.
All Flavors are free of toxic ingredients, comply with FAO/WHO directives and has been manufactured under strict sanitary conditions. We hold a Certificate of Analysis for each flavor and this is available upon request as a PDF file, also all our products come with appropriate labeling. No responsibility can be accepted for any consequences of its use or misuse.
When preparing Eliquid it is advisable to start with 5% flavor concentrate only of Eliquid volume being mixed especially for fruity flavors (Start with 2-5% for Minty/Menthol and Tobacco flavors). Some flavors are extremely strong and taste and flavor will be determined by the device you use as well, e.g. Subohm Coils which burns more ejuice when vaping has more flavor than traditional > 1 Ohm Coil devices. For high ohm coil devices more flavor may be needed but rarely exceeds 13% of Eliquid volume prepared.
Eliquids contain Propylene Glycol (PG), Vegetable Glycerin (VG), Flavor Concentrate (This Product), Distilled Water and optional Liquid Nicotine if you do not want to mix 0% nicotine ejuices.
PG/VG Ratios of mixing and other variables can be set using/downloading the DIY Calculator as at Ejuice Me Up and we suggest starting with 0% nicotine for flavor testing and adding flavor and nicotine and desired using the calculator. A PG/VG Ratio of 50/50 is recommended to start with but depends on your device type. Subohm vapers will normally use 40/60 PG/VG or 30/70 depending on the number of vapor clouds and taste preferred. More PG will ensure more flavor since it transports the flavor better than VG.
Steeping Process
Steeping is the process of letting the ejuice rest for a period of time to improve the flavor of the juice. This is very much like letting good wine age. There are numerous ways to steep and everyone has a different way to do it. Though two things are required for proper steeping: patience and experimentation. Ejuice is a mixture of ingredients when freshly made or stored on a shelf for an extended period of time, the denser component may separate and sink to the bottom. When shaking the bottle during steeping, you are homogenizing the mixture. Steeping times can be accelerated by Eliquid hot baths or an Ultrasonic cleaner with heat function.
When to steep?
Steeping aims to improve the flavor of your juice. If you already love the ejuice as is after mixing, then there is no need to steep. Vape away. However, steeping tends to change the flavor of the juice for the better. So if the flavor is not to your liking or you are curious how your juice may change after steeping, experiment a little can improve the flavor of your juice.
